Zürich is not a big city or a grand city, it is not made up of big moments or monuments, but rather of small moments, narrow alley ways and wonderful little surprises. The big and the monumental can be found in the alps that sit at the far end of lake Zürich and add the natural grandeur to this quaint, yet cosmopolitan city. Having a visitor here today made me realize how little I know about Zürich and how much I still have to explore. Off to make some pizza, drink some Eichhof and enjoy the company of our first guest!
