I'm still a bit terrified of my mandolin, so instead I just finely sliced the sprouts. This was delicious. I didn't share it with Rob, I kept it all for myself :) Darcyhttp://www.darcyeden.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5413615485793018819.post-11360306136976813952012-11-24T17:34:51.332+01:002012-11-24T17:34:51.332+01:00Made this last night for friends visiting from CA ...Made this last night for friends visiting from CA — DELICIOUS! We had leftover turkey paninis, and so having something not cooked on the side, was perfect. I was feeling super lazy and so shredded my Brussels sprouts in the food processor using the shredder attachment, which was super easy but which does not look as aesthetically appealing — yours is so much prettier. The taste, however, I think (?) was unaltered and it was gobbled up by everyone. Thank you. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!alihttp://www.alexandracooks.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5413615485793018819.post-44747442495246448822012-11-23T21:00:55.090+01:002012-11-23T21:00:55.090+01:00Yum. I hear you on the boxed stuff - it can be delicious. I finally found a homemade version that I love, but I'm not completely sold that it is better -- just different.

Ummm, I feel like this recipe is made for me. Bacon? Brussels sprouts? Two of my favorite foods - combined! Can't wait to make this after Thursday.Darcyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04266981390052850072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5413615485793018819.post-31410523188897245472012-11-21T19:09:56.144+01:002012-11-21T19:09:56.144+01:00Growing up, I would sometimes make Stove Top stuff...Growing up, I would sometimes make Stove Top stuffing on random nights for dinner (much to my parents' dismay). My mom just announced that she's only making homemade stuffing this year, so I'm off to find a box of the "just add a stick of butter" kind right away.Katiehttp://katieatthekitchendoor.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5413615485793018819.post-9153672045974720712012-11-21T00:50:25.808+01:002012-11-21T00:50:25.808+01:00Hahaha. I loved this post, too (so funny and engaging) and when I read your mom comment I just had to say that I eagerly read your posts every time you publish them! Even (read: especially) if they involve brussel sprouts.Irisnoreply@blogger.com
